During the intake process Becky asked insightful questions. When she came back to us with the landscape design and plant suggestions, we were in love. She picked plants and trees we liked immediately and gave us the option to select our favorite colors of blooms with ease. She skillfully organized the amount of labor we were able to contribute. All of this within our budget and over time.

Becky walked through my entire Irvington garden and made design suggestions that will enhance the beauty that is already there, and will create new special places. Her knowledge of plants is impressive; also her sense of composition, her sense of weaving patterns is intriguing and exciting and made me look at my garden with different eyes. I appreciated too her practicality and her respect for the workers who had been there before. It is a pleasure working with Becky; I learned a lot and it was fun.

We moved into a new home that didn’t fit our lifestyle or the way we wanted to use our backyard. Graphite and Spade did a phenomenal job of considering our needs, future goals, and vision to help create a layout and design for our home. There was considerable attention to varieties and types of plants that are thriving in Portland as our weather and climate changes. Being able to walk through the design, ask questions, and be provided a comprehensive layout/design made the project really fun and easy. We love beautiful landscaping but don’t consider ourselves plant people and Graphite and Spade made the process very user friendly and not intimidating.
